Afrin Dia is an offshore investment institution incorporated in Mauritius, specializing in long-term value investing and strategic asset allocation in the Indian capital markets. Guided by the principles of professionalism, prudence, and a long-term investment philosophy, we continuously focus on the investment opportunities arising from India’s economic growth and strive to create sustainable long-term value for the capital markets.
Prior to the implementation of India’s Foreign Portfolio Investor (FPI) regime, we participated in the Indian capital markets as a Foreign Institutional Investor (FII) Sub-Account under Icon Capital Ltd. Through this investment structure, we held equity interests in a number of Indian listed companies, including IndusInd Bank.
Our Evolution & Approach
In 2014, following the Securities and Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) implementation of the unified Foreign Portfolio Investor (FPI) regulatory framework, we successfully completed our regulatory transition and continued investing in the Indian capital markets as an independent FPI. This marked a smooth transition from the FII Sub-Account structure to an independent offshore institutional investor.
Over the years, we have remained committed to balancing value investing with disciplined risk management. We focus on investment opportunities across the financial, consumer, industrial, technology, and high-growth sectors. Through in-depth fundamental research, professional investment analysis, and a rigorous risk management framework, we continuously optimize our portfolio to support sustainable long-term capital appreciation.

Why We Offer Our Educational Resources Free of Charge
We completed our registration with the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) on April 15, 2015, under registration number INMUFP071515. Having participated in the Indian capital markets for more than ten years, we have come to recognize that building long-term relationships with investors is essential to sustainable growth.
For this reason, beginning in March 2026, we launched a series of complimentary investment education and technical training programs. We also established the Afrin WhatsApp community, where investors can access educational resources and participate in learning activities.
In addition, we offer a collaboration trial program designed to help prospective partners better understand our investment approach. Because the stock trading ideas shared during this program often involve confidential information, this service is provided exclusively through the Arattai social platform.
